Let's talk about me, baby

Cloe "Honey Honey" Haynes - LIL BAKING DIVA and ENTREPRENUEUR

My passion for baking started in my early years.  I would sit on a stool in my Grandma's kitchen as she taught me how to make the moistest pound cakes.  My Mom's #1 kitchen rule for me was "don't touch the meat".  That left me with flour and sugar.

I began experimenting with my Grandma's Southern Living cookbooks.  Those books taught me about classic southern cakes and cobblers.  It wasn't too long before I was baking (from scratch) birthday cakes for Mom and my sister.

Fast forward, after leaving the Army and starting a job with the United States Attorney's Office, I found my passion for baking again.  I began making special cakes for office events and parties.  After some encouragement from my family and coworkers, I enrolled in a Culinary Arts program at a local community college.  I have been shaking and baking ever since and doing what I love, creating DELICIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL CAKES.

The moral of this story is, it's never too late to discover your passion and chase your dreams!
